Exactly a year ago today, I took this picture in the way to Austin. I felt so helpless but also so very happy. On our way to finally meet our sweet baby. Life as I knew it was finally about to change and I cried tears of happiness as I sat on this plane an looked out the window.

A few days ago, me and Jax went grocery shopping. As we strolled through the doors and I wiped down the cart handles, Jax started to freak out! He saw something exciting and couldn’t contain himself! I looked over at the direction he was pointing and saw… Watermelon. He has never really seen one yet and has definitely never eaten watermelon. I had to get one. The whole entire shopping trip, the melon had to sit next to him and he couldn’t keep his hands or eyes off. This picture makes me laugh because I feel like in this moment, he discovered something he’s been looking for.
